Week 8
In preparation for the final I overlooked the tea house repeatedly to find what could give it an appealing look, so with that I added a grass texture around the building to ground the scene and give an idea how it would look is a person were walking up to it. Another idea was to render at different times of the day so that a person can get the idea of how the house would look both day and night.

Week 7
This week brought about changes and resulted in a remade tea house although the concept and model are the same more detail has been added. A track (although it might be difficult to see) has been added to give the house a realistic use of the glass doors as well as a lamp fixture for the ceiling lights and rounding out of the roof and part of the structure to give it a unique form. Those changes as well as others can be seen in other parts of the blog.

Week 6
This week after tweaking and reworking the tea house we learned about the value of filleting edges to give it a smooth look and allowing it to look even more realistic as well as help light reflect or bounce off of edges in a more appealing way to give it shape.

Week 5
This week after learning more about textures and adding them to the tea house I created a rough rendering of the what it could look like in the end. Some adjustments I have been considering is the flooring specifically the sliding doors and the lack of a track system to make the design accurate.

Week 2
I ran into some road blocks for my tea house so I just came up with a very rough floor plan and elevations for the room but the idea is to have a room surrounded by sliding glass so the room can either be closed from the outside world but able to still look out or open fully so that the people can enjoy the outside. The table is located in the center with room for 6 people to sit with a table on one end of the room for the tea table.
